🎓 This session is one of a series of quarterly gatherings sponsored by the MSR-AOM - Management Spirituality and Religion Division focused on bringing together awareness practice and scholarship in our lives.

💡 In each session, the presenter shares a selected practice from own cultural and spiritual tradition from around the world.

🫂 Attendees learn about the practice, experience that practice, and then reflect together regarding how personal experiences of this and other spiritual practices support them in their scholarship and action.

👥 Learn more about the host and presenter:
Dr Kathryn Goldman Schuyler
is a sociologist, leadership coach, meditation teacher, member of the MSR Executive Team… and ski instructor! Working with colleagues around the world, she has just created a special issue of the Humanistic Management Journal with an invited series of articles on “Awakening to Ourselves, One Another, and the Earth: Awareness Practices and Systems Change”. She and Dr Julian Norris will share insights about how we can find a path through these difficult times and guide us in wisdom awareness practice. Professor Emeritus of Organization Development, Kathryn has published an award-winning book on Tibetan Buddhism, leadership, and work (2012) plus several others on leadership for a healthy world. She is known for leading highly engaging conference sessions and webinars. A coach-advisor for senior leaders and organizations in the government, corporate and social sectors, Julian is a scholar-practitioner, wilderness guide, and faculty member at the Haskayne School of Business. His past roles include Director of Systems Leadership at Banff Centre and Associate Director for Outward Bound Canada.

🌿 There are no prerequisites or expectations as to previous experience or knowledge. All are invited to taste these practices and dialogue together!
