See below about a funded opportunity to engage in research at the Faith and Work collection at Seattle Pacific University in the summer of 2019. Applications are due at the end of January.
The Center for Integrity in Business at Seattle Pacific University announces an opportunity to apply for a Bill Pollard Faith and Business Research Fellowship for Summer 2019. The fellowship will provide selected scholars and business practitioners the opportunity to conduct research and write a paper using unique materials donated by Bill Pollard (retired chairman and CEO of ServiceMaster, Inc.) to Seattle Pacific University Library's Work and Faith Collection. SPU Library's Work and Faith Collection has grown into one of the most comprehensive and unique collections of materials addressing faith and work in the world. Beginning with an initial collection, donated by Pete Hammond in the winter of 2008, there are now almost 2,000 materials to discover in the Graduate/Faculty Study Room of the SPU Library. This distinctive collection of books and resources is open to anyone who is interested in exploring the intersection of Christian faith and work, economics and business, faith and the professions, and vocation. You can find specific details for the application process for the fellowship opportunity here. Please contact the Center for Integrity in Business (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any additional questions.
