    Esteemed Friends, Greetings!

I trust this communique finds you in fine fettle. It was nice seeing some of you at the AOM annual meeting in Boston!

I am working with a major international publisher to lead the efforts to bring out an Encyclopedia of Contemporary Leadership and Change in 2021. I have been toying with this idea over the last several years and finally now got to the point of unveiling it.

I would like to cordially invite you to serve as one of the section editors for this major reference project. It will be an honor to work with you!

Section editor (or editors) will be joyfully responsible for writing a chapter of their choice (2,000 – 3,000 words) on a topic that is most precious to them. It does not have to be new, primary research. One can base this chapter on the distillation of previously published research, a sort of culmination of all that one has learned and thought about a topic during their lifetime research, teaching, and study.

Each section editor will suggest a 'section theme' and induct/recommend/ and work with 15-20 scholars/practitioners from their circle of influence and will be responsible for coordinating these 15-20 chapters (2,000-3,000 words each) for their particular assigned section.

You may also consider having another colleague with you as your section co-editor and invite a total of 15-20 scholars from your circle who will each contribute 2,000-3,000 words chapters on the broad theme of Leadership and Change.

The encyclopedia will consist of minimum 750,000 words.  Therefore, it will be a shared platform on a very vast scale.

Over the last 2-3 years, I have had the blessed opportunity of coordinating/co-coordinating 3 such major reference projects comprising over 500,000 words each (with 75+ scholars/practitioners from six continents, contributing to each volume for publishers such as Palgrave and Springer-and am working on another such volume on Mindfulness at Workplace for Routledge).

Since, each participating section editor will have 2 years from now to work on, so we all will have plenty of time to move toward this mega project, slowly and steadily.

If you would rather like to just contribute your chapter to this encyclopedia at this time, and suggest some other colleagues/friends as Section Editors, please kindly share their names and contact information.

I do hope that you would kindly consider to be a part of this venture.

More later, once I hear from you.

    Thank you.

    Warm Regards,
