    Dear MSR Community,

Even though I am an old-timer in MSR, every year I struggle to find the registration links to all of the MSR events that I would like to attend.  This year, as we welcome a large influx of emerging scholars, as a result of the Fetzer Institute MSR Scholarship, I realized that a list of these links would be helpful to them as well as to the rest of our community.  So here are various links to help you get registered for various MSR events at the 2019 Academy of Management in Boston, August 6-16, 2019.

    1. Join the Academy of Management, if you are not already a member. Students may sign up as student members at a reduced rate. To Join: http://aom.org/join
    2. Register for the Academy of Management conference. If you are a doctoral student, your registration fee is $155 USD. http://aom.org/annualmeeting/registration/
    3. Reserve your accommodations. You can find details at http://aom.org/annualmeeting/housing/ . If you are a student, you are encouraged to take advantage of the Student Housing at lower rates. There are a limited number of Student Housing units, so register as soon as possible
    4. Further down on the Housing page http://aom.org/annualmeeting/housing/, you will find information on travel discounts, including car rentals. Most hotels provide a shuttle from the airport to the hotel.
    5. We encourage you to attend the MSR Research Consortium on August 8th, 9:30am – 5pm. The cost of $25 includes a catered lunch. Register here: http://bit.ly/2IZgNl3 or simply reply to Dr. Debra Dean at debrdea@regent.edu
    6. You will need to register separately for MSR Professional Development Workshops (PDW)(August 9-13) at http://events.aom.org/events/2019-annual-meeting-pdws/event-summary-13da6c8ab5aa4e5ea89eab5cf71b680b.aspx. Once you get into the PDW webpage, scroll down until you find "MSR" and select the events you would like to attend. Most PDWs are free or "complimentary" but you still need to register. If you are a new doctoral student, you may wish to attend the New Doctoral Student Consortium listed under "NDSC", on Saturday, August 10th 8-4pm.
    7. The MSR Community Dinner on August 9th is $65 and must be prepaid. You register for the dinner on the PDW webpage listed immediate above. It is a wonderful networking opportunity. You will need a code to register. That code should be provided soon through the MSR/AOM Connect listserve.
    8. The MSR Retreat is August 13-16th. The registration link is at  http://safe.aom.org/events/registration.aspx?event=MSR2019&expand=true&intent=msr. Full cost for 3 nights lodging, space for retreat activities and dining (from Tuesday dinner through Friday lunch), is $345(double occupancy) or $495 (single occupancy) USD per person.  The purpose of the retreat is to connect at a deeper, spiritual level with colleagues, to rest and renew after the business of the Academy, and to share faith and spiritual practices with one another.

I hope you find these links helpful, and I encourage you to make your plans early so that you can get the best prices.

    Warm Regards,

    Judi Neal

Thank you, Judi!  Having all of the links in one place makes organizing our AOM schedules so much easier.
