Welcome to the MSR Interest Group!

    Dear MSR Members:

This may be of interest to you - especially if you are on the MSR Connect Discussion and are a new member or a friend who has not yet joined MSR but would like to know more about us.

Whether you are new to the Academy of Management, an AOM veteran broadening your divisional membership, or a prior member renewing your connection, we are glad you have an interest in the MSR Group.

MSR is now 19 years old and growing. We focus on interdisciplinary theoretical and applied research and pedagogy related to the relevance and relationship of spirituality and religion in management. This is a very exciting time in the MSR community. We believe you will find that some wonderful things happen when you connect and engage in MSR through your membership - throughout the year. We look forward to connecting with you.

Here are some tips to help you access the resources now available to you:

    1. Visit the Academy of Management Community User Guide for information on how to edit your profile, join a community, start or reply to a discussion, and change your email and community notification settings
    2. Check out the MSR Connect Community for information on how to get involved. You can login to the community using the same username and password that you use to access your AOM member profile.
    3. Post a message to the robust Discussion Forum or search through the archive of past discussions. Looking for classroom materials or have a research question? Chances are there is something posted to the discussion forum that might help you!
    4. Share or search for a resource in the MSR Interest Group Library. Folders exist for research resources (call for papers, construct measures) teaching resources (including cases, classroom exercises, syllabi, videos), past newsletters, and more.
    5. Learn about the MSR Events at AOM Annual Meetings. Each year MSR has a focus on Research – review the resources. Transformational Teaching and Learning is also an important theme to many MSR members. Numerous resources on this topic are available. You will find many other resources that are available in the MSR Library.
    6. Review the About Us menu tab on the MSR website and governing documents for MSR to learn more about what we do.
    7. Learn how to get involved with the MSR Interest Group. Contact any MSR Executive Members with questions or if you are interested in getting more involve.
    8. Review all the detailed descriptions of the MSR Program ( Sessions, Events and Meeting) in Boston 2019 – August 8-13.
    9. Join the MSR Interest Group on Connect (website, library and discussion. Connect is new to all groups in AOM and you can help us use this interactive technology – and build an MSR Culture of dialogue– in the Discussion. This can help us all build community and strengthen MSR and the MSR field as a flourishing & growing community.
    10. Enjoy our News Blasts from the past year:
Thank you for becoming a member of MSR , we're delighted to have you join us!

    Best wishes,
