Dear friends and colleagues,
We warmly invite you to join us for the 2026 MSR Research Colloquium, "The Mystical and Research: Dwelling at the Threshold of Knowing."
What has this colloquium opened, stirred, challenged, or illuminated? What seeds have been planted? What possibilities may now be emerging for MSR scholarship, practice, and community?
Co-facilitated by Tianyuan Yu and Kathryn Goldman Schuyler, our Closing Plenary will invite participants to share insights, questions, hopes, and calls for future action and transformation. Members of the MSR Leadership Team will also offer reflections on their takeaways from the colloquium and how these connect with MSR's future directions. Together, we will look back, look within, and look ahead.
Across the earlier sessions leading into the closing plenary, we will also explore:
- What kind of ontological field architecture might support leadership transformation at the threshold of the mystical?
- How might emerging scholars shape the future of MSR research?
- What does it mean to reimagine the university in the age of AI through communal wisdom and higher consciousness?
- How might we define, conduct, and evaluate spiritual research without reducing its depth, mystery, or transformative power?
