Dear friends and colleagues,
What if the researcher’s deepest insights begin not only in the field, but within the self? How might life challenges and loss burn away fixed identities and open deeper realities? What becomes possible when research is approached through divided attention and graced knowing?
We are pleased to share "The Researcher's Inner Journey: Self and Graced Knowing," a featured session of the 2026 MSR Research Colloquium, "The Mystical and Research: Dwelling at the Threshold of Knowing."
In this session, Dr. Ekaterina Zhuravleva Todarello explores the relationship between the researcher's inner identity and the "WOW" moments of research, those graced moments of insight that may arise through attention, presence, and inner coherence. The session will also feature a rare guided meditation on Gurdjieff's divided attention, inviting participants into a lived experience of inquiry from within.
