Hi Kathy,
Thanks for promoting the Consortium in your note. We are really having a challenge getting the word out. It's really due to our lack of expertise in using the Internet. David Trott sent out the first notice to the entire membership and we got two additional applicants. Hopefully, we can do that a couple of more times.
Jerry Biberman has agreed to send a notice to the OBTS listserve. He will also ask Len how he was able to send out notices to other divisions regarding the MSR retreat.
Thanks again. We'll keep plugging away (smile).

Subject: Join us for pre-conference in Atlanta!
Dear MSR members-
The time is here for you to make your plans to attend the 2006 Academy of Management meeting in Atlanta. Registration and housing links are up and running on the Academy homepage. Let me personally invite you not only to attend the formal program but to take part in the collegial and festive pre-conference PDW sessions. PDWs are specially designed to be developmental and interactive and present unsurpassed networking and sharing opportunities.
Our MSR highlight for Atlanta is our Doctoral Student and New Faculty consortium, coordinated by John Young and David Cowan. The agenda is holistic and gives participants access to conversations with many seasoned MSR scholars. Our undying gratitude goes out to John and David for making this happen!
The remainder of the PDW program has something for everyone. We have sessions facilitated by practitioners and consultants who share MSR experience in organizations. We have multi-divisional sponsorship of sessions that examine the aftermath of Katrina from social and spiritual perspectives. We have morning opportunities for mediation on Saturday and Sunday facilitated by Jerry Biberman to help you center and be present with your colleagues. We have spiritual entrepreneurship and how that gets operationalized as well as an examination of the spiritual perspective of stakeholder theory
In all, MSR is sponsoring and sharing sponsorship of 14 PDW sessions facilitated by an international crew of MSR folks.
The program will be available soon on the Academy site and I would encourage you to sign up for pre-conference attendance and choose which wonderful sessions you will share with your MSR colleagues from around the world. Please join us!
