    The MSR dissertation awards committee is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2006 MSR Dissertation awards:
     
    1st Place   $2000.00 - Gui Gasser, "The influence of Religious Belief Systems on Decision-Making."
     
    2nd Place $1000.00 - Stephenie Wodinsky, " A Study of Occupational Choices of Women Who Observe a Specific Religion Other than Christianity."
     
    3rd Place  $ 750.00 - Anna Paine, "Comparing Self as Instrument Competency Between Organization Change Practitioners With and Without a Daily Meditation Practice."
     
    4th Place $ 750.00 -  Michelle French, "The Alignment Between Personal Meaning and Organizational Mission Among Executives: A Study of Happiness, Job Satisfaction, and Responsibility Toward Employees."
     
    Expectations of Recipients:

    (1)  Attend the Professional Development Workshop session for Promising Doctoral Dissertation Awards recipients the year the award is received.

    (2)  Provide a briefing on the dissertation conceptualization at an MSR session devoted to "emergent research " within the MSR program the year the award is received. (Another opportunity for feedback and creative sharing). Please note, the doctoral dissertation awards-presentation will take place Friday, August 11th during the Welcome Dinner which will run from 5:30 until 7:30. 
     
    (3)  Submit a paper proposal reporting on the completed research to MSR when
    the thesis is concluded.
    Hope to see ya'll at the Welcome Dinner and award ceremony in Atlanta.
