Assistant/ Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior
<st1:placename w:st="on">Florida</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Gulf</st1:placetype> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Coast</st1:placetype> <st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype>'s <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Lutgert</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">College</st1:placetype></st1:place> of Business invites applications from individuals interested in joining our dynamic and growing Management Department faculty beginning August, 2007. Earned Doctorate in Organizational Behavior or related field from an accredited business school required. ABDs will be considered with a planned graduation date prior to faculty appointment. Candidates for this full-time position are expected to teach organizational behavior, ethics, change management, international management and other general management courses. Teaching and/or business experience preferred. Desired qualifications include a commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels; well-developed teamwork and communication skills; and experience in the development of instructional materials, including alternative delivery methods. The successful candidate will develop and sustain a program of disseminated research. Evidence of capability to publish in refereed outlets is expected.
Opening in 1997, <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Florida</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Gulf</st1:placetype> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Coast</st1:placetype> <st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype></st1:place> is part of the eleven member state university system. Located in <st1:place w:st="on">Southwest Florida</st1:place>, the university has 8,300 students with an expected enrollment of approximately 15,000 students within the next seven years. The Management Department has eleven full-time faculty and has concentrations in Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, and Sports Management.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with academic preparation and experience.
