    Dear Debu,

Extending my congratulations for your new post as Program Chair for MSR.
I too am looking for contacts to conduct research in the area of Sprirituality at work (MSR) and it would be very helpful if we had groups that we can cooperate with for cross cultural or other research in the area, resulting in publications.

Thank you for your attention and best of luck in your new post.

    regards
    annabel

                Dear Professor Debu Mukherjee,

Congratulations for being elected as Programme Chair Elect for the MSR. I am a member of this interest group and have been engaged and am

pursuing research on spirituality. Even though there is reservoir of knowledge on this subject in this country, there is lack of interest in research on

this field here. In view of paucity of research on theory, evidence and cross cultural research in this area, there is need for scientific/ systematic

research which can be applied in management. I would like to know if MSR has provision for funding research/ publication like other academic

groups. If so, please explain the process; I am keen to know.

    Dear All

I have just been elected to the MSR Program Chair-Elect (aka PDW coordinator) which is the first rung in a 5-year sequence that culminates in MSR Past-Chair (aka elections coordinator). I am planning to  attend the AOM 2007 Meeting in the month of August and looking for accommodation.

In the meantime, my wife and me we are travelling to Japan for 16 days holidays starting from June 10. It will be rewarding if I can develop some contacts with members in Japan. My current interests are project management and learning consultation, and academic interests of lecturing, leading seminars, and research. My PhD research was "Analysis of knowledge, skills and expertise for effective decision-making in project management."

I will deeply appreciate any information and your response, please

    Kind regards

I agree.  Unfortunately, right now, it's hard to get people to even participate.
    Thanks,

Thanks Annabel and Frank. Listserv is helping us connect but we need to go beyond and I feel MSR can play a significant role.

                Thanks and cheers,

Hello MSR colleagues (and Yassous, Annabel!),

I would encourage the MSR division to follow the direction suggested by Annabel. I would like to add another perspective for the benefit of the future leadership of MSR: based on what I learned during my three-year involvement with the ITC executive committee, it appears that MSR is one of the _least_ international divisions/IGs in the Academy (i.e., bottom 25%). I am not sure what the full range of causes for this fact is, but I think that this is a worthwhile are to work on in the coming years.

    Best regards,
