  • 1.  2008 All Academy Professional Development Workshops: Call for Proposals

    Posted 09-10-2007 17:17

For the very first time at the 2008 Annual Meeting, the Academy of Management will reserve time during the PDW program for a select group of All Academy PDWs. These All Academy PDWs should address the theme of the 2008 meeting, The Questions We Ask". These PDWs should be of broad interests to the Academy membership. The purpose for these All Academy PDWs is to challenge you to submit proposals which will stimulate the audience and engage them to think and act in new ways.

Please note that All Academy PDWs do NOT go through the Academy divisions or interest groups. If you have ideas for All Academy PDWs, please communicate these in writing to the All Academy PDW Chair, Dianna Stone at shashcub1@satx.rr.com as soon as possible, and NO LATER than

    November 15, 2007.
In your email please make sure to include a description of the workshop, the format of the workshop, and the participants that you have in mind. If deemed acceptable, a full proposal must be submitted to Dianna Stone at shashcub1@satx.rr.com by December 3, 2007.

    Hi Dianna,

I have a few basic questions:

What time durations/slots would be permissible?
    What audience sizes?
Would these be stand-alone sessions and/or set of related sessions.

    Thanks.

    David
