Dr. Doug Johnson,

My name is Nathan Weidner and I am a graduate student in I/O psychology at Wayne State University. I am currently working with Dr. Marcus Dickson on two research projects that involve examining religion, spirituality, and implicit leadership theories. The focus of the first study is on the relationship between religious affiliation and implicit leadership theories at the country level (with data collected from countries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia). Our second research project focuses on the relationship between religious affiliation, religiosity, spirituality, and implicit leadership theories at the individual level (with data collected in the US).

I previously contacted you in July, when I was attempting to organize a symposium for SIOP 2008. Since we did not submit a symposium for SIOP, we are interested in submitting a symposium for the Academy of Management 2008 conference. Would you be interested in joining this symposium?

I am looking forward to hearing back from you on your decision. Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could refer me to any one who may be interested in joining us for this symposium. If you have any questions feel free to contact me via email nathanw@wayne.edu

    Thank you,

    Nathan Weidner
