Hi All,
I have come across the book, which i would like to share with other
members of the MSR group. The book is titled "Spirituality in Mangement-
Means or End?" by Prof S.K. Chakraboty and Debangshu Chakraborty.
Prof S.K. Chakraborty is Founder Convenor, Management Centre of Human
Values, IIM Calcutta, India.
The book says,
"...This book offers critical insights into spirituality-inaction that
will be useful for leaders and managers of enterprises, scholars and
researchers in management, sociology, and psychology, and post-graduate
students in these areas."
Also, the authors cautions the reader that we should not take a casual or
glib approach towards spirituality in management and make it a FAD like so
many other things.
It is a very interesting book to read, for those who sincerely believe in
following spiritual principle in management and other social sciences
area.
