    ** Apologies for cross-posting **

Greenleaf Publishing cordially invites you to join us at our 'Meet and Greet' at the Academy of Management Meeting in Philadelphia this year; we look forward to meeting old friends and new. It is taking place at the Greenleaf booth (number 524, by the Internet Café Lounge) in the Exhibit Hall B, Pennsylvania Convention Center, on Sunday 3rd August at 3pm.

It will be an informal meeting with refreshments and will provide you with the opportunity to discuss new book proposals, talk to Greenleaf authors and hear about our plans for the future. Sanjay Sharma, author of Competing for a Sustainable World, Jordi Vives Gabriel, editor of Case Studies in Sustainability Management, and Al Rosenbloom, co-editor of Socially Responsible Organizations and the Challenge of Poverty will be there amongst many others. Of course, if you're not able to join us at this time, please feel free to call by our booth when you have a free moment.

We are delighted to be sponsoring the ONE Division's inaugural Distinguished Scholar Award and the GDO Division's Saroj Parasuraman Outstanding Publication Award. In addition, Witold Henisz of the Wharton School of Management will be signing copies of his new book, Corporate Diplomacy at 12.30pm on Saturday 2nd August, again at the Greenleaf stand.

Greenleaf has been publishing leading research in both books and journals in corporate responsibility, sustainability, business ethics and environmental policy for more than 20 years and we are excited to be moving to the next stage in the company's development. Our clear focus on the core area of sustainability enables us to work closely with our authors, provide dedicated editorial and marketing support and approach the right audiences.

We are seeking to develop both our portfolio and the services we provide to authors in a number of important ways. In the Sustainable Organization Library (SOL), we have created an online library of books and journals from Greenleaf and other partners, bringing together many international bodies that operate in the areas of social, environmental and financial sustainability, including the UN Global Compact, AMACOM, Oxfam, PRME and the ILO. We have also established a global network of marketing and sales agents to promote the books worldwide. Our marketing and sales partners in the Americas, Stylus Publishing, are also going to be at AOM and will be on hand to discuss the frontlist books at booth 619.

While keeping our clear focus on sustainability and related fields, we are expanding our portfolio and are seeking new book proposals. We welcome suggestions for new monographs, textbooks and edited collections from all areas of sustainability and social responsibility. We are particularly commissioning titles in the areas of:

    • Standards, compliance and risk
    • Business ethics
    • Corporate responsibility
    • Leadership and innovation
    • Sustainable management
    • Gender and diversity
    • Sustainability in the built environment
    • Sustainability in transport and tourism
    • Sustainability in agriculture and food production
    • Sustainable production and consumption

We would be delighted to hear from you if you have any book proposals in mind. Please contact our publishing team - Rebecca Marsh (rebecca.marsh@greenleaf-publishing.com) or Rebecca Macklin (rebecca.macklin@greenleaf–publishing.com) (the two Rebeccas!) - if you would like to discuss any proposals or to arrange a meeting.

I would be grateful if you could let us know if you plan to join us at the Greenleaf 'Meet and Greet' on the 3rd August so that we can look out for you. You can view the invitation here.

We look forward to hearing from you,

    Best regards,

    Rebecca Macklin
