Beyond Concept, What is Self as Instrument?
Self As Instrument
Self As Instrument is commonly considered a critical skill set for the organization change practitioner. However self as instrument is understudied, not well defined, nor is it clearly outlined in the literature how the skills are developed. This is relevant for both scholars and practitioners of all disciplines. The objectives of this session are to:
· Explore what comprises self as instrument,
· Participate in learning activities, and
· Contribute to the knowledge base for this important construct.
Based on my dissertation research which studied self as instrument skills among organization change practitioners.
