    Dear MSR friends,

My new book, The Soul of a Leader (Crossroad Publishing) has just been officially released, and I'm writing to you all because I think you might be interested in it (or you might know someone who would be interested in it). In order to increase its visibility, I'm doing a special Amazon launch, in which I'm inviting people to buy it from Amazon.com all on the same day, September 10. If you didn't already buy a pre-publication copy in Anaheim (or even if you did!), perhaps you would be interested in participating.

If you'd like to participate, here's what you do on September 10:
    1) Click on the following link which will take you to my website: website: http://www.executivesoul.com/SOAL.html (You can also get more information about the book here.)
    2) Click on "order online" which will bring you to The Soul of a Leader on Amazon.com
    3) Place your order.

I will be donating $1 for every book sold on Amazon Day to Sisters of the Road Cafe, http://www.sistersoftheroad.org (a cafe for homeless people in Portland, Oregon, whose co-founder, Genny Nelson is featured in The Soul of a Leader), in appreciation to all of you who buy the book and help increase its visibility, and in appreciation to Genny Nelson, a leader who manifests the spirit of The Soul of a Leader.

Many thanks for considering participating in the Amazon launch. And many thanks for considering passing this on to anyone you know who might be interested. (Let me know if you'd like to know how many copies of the book end up selling on that day.)

    With all good wishes,
    Margaret

P.S. Here's an endorsement of the book from Desmond Tutu:
"Today's global community desperately needs leaders with soul. Margaret Benefiel's groundbreaking book meets that need beautifully, by teaching principles of soulful leadership, illustrated with stories of real leaders who practice them. Required reading."

P.P.S. Here's a brief description of the book, from the publisher:
Demonstrating the principle that soulfulness at work is a way of being and doing, this guide provides new perspectives on the qualities of leadership. Three main sections elaborate on the themes of choosing the path, staying on track, and persevering to the end. Drawing from interviews with outstanding leaders, including Tom and Kate Chappell, the founders of Tom's of Maine; Bob Glassman, co-chairman of Wainwright Bank & Trust; Genny Nelson, co-founder of Sisters of the Road Cafe; Desmond Tutu; and The Edge of rock band U2, and supported with guided questions in each section, this book is an essential addition to the bookshelf of anyone who wants to lead with soul.
