    Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Management

    The College of Business at the University of New Haven is currently seeking a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Management. The ideal candidate will possess a research doctorate in management or related business field. Candidates must be able to demonstrate teaching and practical experience in a minimum of two of the following undergraduate and/or graduate areas: management and organization, business ethics and diversity, contemporary issues of business and society, business policy, management process, and other management related courses.. The position will be intimately involved in student advising and focused primarily on undergraduate program growth and opportunities. It is expected that the successful candidate will contribute intellectually to the literature in the field as it relates to the practice in the industry. Preference will also be given to candidates who demonstrate technology skills, knowledge of assessment and assurance of learning, passion for teaching, and dedication to experiential learning. Requirements for all applicants include evidence of superior teaching, scholarship, service, and a strong commitment to our students' professional development. Curriculum development, integration of experiential learning in coursework, and service learning background are also highly desirable.

    The hired faculty member will be based in the Management and Sport Management Department, the largest undergraduate and one of the fastest growing components of the College of Business. The Department has an international reputation with well known faculty members, well positioned alumni, a dedicated advisory board, and a reputation for being innovative and offering cutting edge professional training.
