    The Department of Management in the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, invites applications for two tenured/tenure-track faculty positions in Organizational Behavior, one open at all academic ranks, and a tenure-track assistant professor position, both beginning September 1, 2012. Potential applicants for all ranks are encouraged to apply.

    We are looking for individuals who embody our teacher/scholar model which combines excellence in scholarship, teaching, and interaction with the business community. The University of St. Thomas is known for excellence in teaching business as well as research that contributes to our understanding of businesses and organizations. We believe that research informs business practice and the classroom, and that organizational experience and the classroom can be a rich source of inspiration for research.

    The University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business is a dynamic college offering an undergraduate program, full-time and evening MBA programs, and specialized masters programs. Our mission-driven approach to management education has long been recognized and was recently validated by AACSB accreditation. We are the only private AACSB accredited college of business in Minnesota. The Management Department consists of 16 full-time faculty members with an impressive range of teaching and research expertise at the macro- and micro- levels of management, who share dedication to our mission and who value strong working relationships.

    Candidates should have a doctorate in Organizational Behavior or a closely related field (or be in the final stages of completing such a doctorate). Additional expertise in Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Management, or a related field will be considered favorably. Successful candidates will demonstrate commitment to teaching excellence, with teaching experience and research record commensurate with rank sought. Experience with or ability to teach Organizational Behavior courses is desired. Preference will be given to candidates who blend academic credentials and professional experiences (management in for-profit, non-profit, or public organizations or consulting to same) suitable to our mix of programs.

Determination of candidates for screening interviews will be based on submitted materials, which should include vita and cover letter.
