    Hello fellow management scholars,

As most of you know, I have a pronounced interest in the intersection of spirituality, religion, and workplace performance and environment. Similarly, as many of you also know, the same principles for collegiality and productive communication that apply in other settings often apply to the workplace.  I have recently been featured in an article in the New York Times on mental illness and religion and have recently been hired as a writer for the Nashville Examiner on Health and Wellness.  My hope is to use these two entrees to hopefully educate people about the need for EAP programs, human resources departments, and leadership cadre to begin to implement paradigms such as non-violent-communication in the workplace.  There are links enclosed to both the article page and the New York Times feature.

In addition, though I was not able to attend Academy this year, I absolutely love the follow up emails that I have been receiving from various participants.  These emails demonstrate the capacity and willingness of those who want to study the positive effects of spirituality in the workplace and in business in general, to model and implement some of the philosophical underpinnings of the questions that we ask.

    Hello all,

In the spirit of the profligate ambition that defines my path almost as much as my altruism, I wanted to alert you to the fact that I am now writing articles for the Nashville Examiner on Health, Wellness, and Support Groups.  Feel free to pass the links on to whomever you'd like.

My first two articles are on-line now and can be reached either by going to http://examiner.com/user/2595901/2039096/articles , or just going to www.examiner.com and then doing a search on Woodrow Lucas.  Thanks in advance.
