Call for papers and new book

  • 1.  Call for papers and new book

    Posted 03-07-2011 06:01

    Dear Fellow MSR members,

I wonder whether the attached call for papers exploring the meaning of responsibility, or the new book we have just had published on leadership, or more accurately MisLeadership, is of interest?

    Hope they help.

    Warmest regards,
    Jon

    Dear Patton,

    Happy to support this.

How do you propose to advance this topic from the caucus?

I am particularly interested in leadership.

    Regards

    Shankar

    Subject: Support a Caucus Proposal?

    Dear Fellow MSR members,

I plan to submit a proposal for a caucus at the San Antonio meeting, and the submission must name five other people who support the caucus. Supporting it doesn't mean committing to attend (although that would be nice), after all, we don't know the schedule yet. If you would be willing to be named as a supporter, please email me to let me know. Subject to tweaking before submitting (deadline is March 8), here's the caucus description:

    Applying Mindfulness in Management
This caucus is for people interested in applying mindfulness and related contemplative disciplines to real-world issues of management and leadership, approached from the inside-out. Topics are open to suggestions of participants and may include mindfulness approaches to subjects such as transformative learning, emotional intelligence, enhancing creativity, and mindful leadership, as well as empirical studies of the effects of mindfulness meditation practice.

    Thank you for your consideration.

    Cheers,

    Patton
