  • 1.  Call for Proposals - Wisdom at Work Conference

    Posted 05-21-2012 19:29

    Dear Colleagues,

I invite you to attend the International Wisdom at Work Conference, October 30-November 1, at the Sam M. Walton College of Business, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR.  This is the second annual conference hosted by the Tyson Center for Faith and Spirituality in the Workplace.  Last year we had 150 participants with eight countries represented, 17 research papers, 20 workshops, 5 business leader keynotes, and many wonderful new connections and collaborations.  This year we will be adding a pre-conference workshop at Crystal Bridges Museum, the largest and most beautiful American Art museum in the country. http://crystalbridges.org/.

The due date for Call for Proposals is July 15th. To make the process easier this year, we are not asking for full papers at this stage, just proposals or abstracts.  We had an excellent conference last year, with deep dialogue among researchers, faculty, students, business leaders and faith/spiritual leaders.  We expect this second year to be even better.  Our keynote speakers include Andre Delbecq, J.-Robert Ouimet, and James Autry.  We had a good number of MSR members in attendance last year and I hope that you will join us as we continue to explore how the field is unfolding and how we can collaborate across disciplines to support our shared goals.

You can find the Call for Proposals on our website.

    Judi,

Does this mean you've extended the deadline from 6/1 or is this another deadline for something else? As of now I owe at least five pages for your Handbook by 6/15.

I also have down that I was to submit a proposal on something from my book by 6/1? Does this extended deadline now mean I have until 7/15 for this?
