Martin Rutte, the co-founder of the Center for Spirituality and the Workplace at the Sobey School of Business, St Mary's University, Halifax, Canada, and President of Livelihood, Inc., is one of the pioneers in the field of management, spirituality and religion. He has been a long-time supporter of the MSR Interest Group and has been observing the role of this interest group in the field since the founding of MSR. In this MSR Theme Session, he will speak about his involvement since the 1980s, why he founded the Centre for Spirituality and the Workplace, and ways to use social media to expand the global conversation. He will provide a model for spirituality and work and will facilitate a discussion with MSR participants about twelve arenas in which we can take MSR to its next level globally.
