Assistant Professor Position: University of Nebraska at Omaha
The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) is seeking applicants for a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor of Industrial/Organizational Psychology. We seek an individual with training in I/O Psychology who is interested in teaching both undergraduate and graduate students and involving them in research and applied projects. The I/O Psychology graduate program emphasizes the scientist-practitioner model in teaching both applied Master's students and Ph.D. students. The successful candidate will teach graduate level I/O psychology courses and undergraduate courses (depending on department needs); maintain a productive record of research and scholarship in area(s) of specialization; advise graduate and undergraduate students; engage with the community and local organizations as a consultant in our applied services program; and participate in service at the local and national levels. We are particularly interested in candidates that are able to teach courses in the industrial area of I/O Psychology (such as Job Analysis and Performance Appraisal or Training or Personnel Selection). Area of research specialization is open.
Candidates must have earned a Doctorate in Psychology or a related discipline (completion of requirements anticipated by August, 2013). Post-doctoral, applied, or prior academic experience is preferred.
