In our theoretical and empirical findings, we argue that business should play an integral role as an agent of world benefit to be part of the solution for the better of our institutions, society, and our world. Our perspective invites a series of inclusive voices from the that inform specific dimensions to shape our diverse understanding. From business school changes to the open inquiry of religious ethical underpinnings in the classroom, and from business structural ontological paradigms to the practices of consciousness in leadership, we suggest that the path to building and running meaningful organizations starts with the need to re-frame what we teach and how we engage our students, in terms of providing a place where they they can further explore and shape their values. Equally so, we suggest that the path forward must include a conscious choice to reframe business purpose as one that is focused on increasing economic prosperity while contributing to healthy environments and improving human wellbeing.
