    Dear MSR Members,

I am forwarding this announcement on behalf of Charles Tackney, Stacie Chappell, and Toyoko Sato.  While normally we would not announce specific papers that are published in the MSR field, this particular paper provides a history of the founding of our Management, Spirituality and Religion interest group and should be of interest to our community.

By the way, if you receive the MSR listserve emails, but are not a member of MSR, please join.  All you have to do is check the MSR box as one of your two AOM Division or Interest Group memberships, and if you already have 2, it only costs an additional $7 to add a third group.

    Warmly, Judi Neal

    Dear MSR Listserv members:

On behalf of my co-authors, Stacie and Toyoko, I am happy to post a link to a paper published in the Journal of Management, Spirituality, and Religion.

    •       This paper began from a brief August chat with Stacie Chappell, as we sat in the circle of chairs at the 2015 MSR Bowen Island retreat, about a text that captured the MSR founding. Next, Toyoko Sato suggested a content analysis of MSR research papers as a longitudinal complement in late September at Copenhagen Business School. There were many helpful discussions and plenty of support from MSR members – Mary Finney gets special mention here. We presented this as a 2016 AOM Conference paper, revised, and are now happy to report it published in the Journal as of 1 March 2017.
