  • 1.  The Heart of Work - Conference in Rome October 19-20, 2017

    Dear Friends of the MSR Interest Group,

    Greetings from Rome!

    I am delighted to extend you the invitation to participate in the upcoming international conference "The Heart of Work", which is really close to the research interest of many of us in this MSR group!

    The conference will take place in Rome (Italy) next October 19th-20th, 2017 and it is organized  by the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross and the Markets, Culture, & Ethics Research Centre. 

    Centered on the search for the "soul or heart of work," the conference, which has an interdisciplinary character, intends to offer reflections on work as an activity which perfects the human person and society, and which constitutes for the Christian a path to fulfil his or her vocation and mission.

    Deadline for submission of abstracts is April 15th.

    Hi Marta, just to mention there is a conference later this month also in Rome see link ..


    I am an older head on a Ph.D. journey!! I have had contact with Villanova university and Charles Zech the last few years hense my invite to the conference - maybe some of the group would be interested (I just emailed yourself).

    If life is good to me I might return in October!!
