On behalf of the MSR Interest Group, we cordially invite you to our PDW titled "The Manager and Love: Evoking a Loving Inquiry in a Group Setting" at the upcoming 2022 Academy of Management Conference. This year's PDW will be conducted as "Virtual – Only: Zoom meeting style (synchronous)" and is scheduled on Monday, August 8th from 8:00 – 9:30am (PDT; UTC -7).
After a brief introduction, the virtual session will proceed with a couple of facilitators sharing stories of expressing love and compassion in academic and work settings. The bulk of the session will involve participants reflecting on their own experiences, sharing personal challenges with being more loving and compassionate, and discussing potential inner shifts that need to occur to give rise to more love and compassion in academic or work settings. Through this exercise, we intend for participants to become more aware of conscious and unconscious conditioning regarding love so they can truly practice unconditional love in an education setting or management context.
