The Department of Organizational Behavior at Weatherhead School of Management offers a distinctive PhD program to pursue organizational behavior and interdisciplinary research that generates knowledge of enduring consequence through high-quality and rigorous research qualitative, quantitative and phenomenological methods.

The Organizational Behavior Department at Case Western Reserve University invites applications for admission to the PhD in Organizational Behavior program. Our faculty are thought leaders in areas of contemporary interest. Faculty, doctoral students, and doctoral alumni publish field-defining books and in top-tier academic and practitioner journals, such as AMJ, AMR, ASQ, AMLE, JAP, JOB, OS, JBE, LQ, JABS, JME, and HBR. Our faculty also serves on the editorial boards of leading journals and have edited multiple special issues.
We are actively seeking PhD program applicants who share research interests that fit with faculty expertise. We offer a highly active research environment with ample opportunities to acquire interdisciplinary theoretical grounding and world-class methodological skills that enable path-creating research on important managerial and societal concerns. Our recent PhD alumni have been placed as assistant professors and post-doctoral fellows at several major research universities including Northeastern University, Penn State University, University of Arizona, University of Utah, UMASS Boston, Virginia Tech, and Umeå University.
