In 2021, the Journal of Management, Spirituality, and Religion (JMSR) began a series of three special issues focused on well-being, flourishing, and global consciousness. Now, we are launching the third of the series, and the focus for this issue will be on technologies that enable global consciousness. Through this special issue, we aim to explore how advanced technologies and ancient wisdom technologies can serve global consciousness and evolving management practices by bridging the best of both worlds - cutting-edge advancements of modern technology and timeless wisdom and practices that have been passed down through ancient traditions – while also expanding accessibility to opportunities for spiritual exploration and growth.
