Dear friends and colleagues,
Many thanks to all who registered for the session, as well as those who were able to join us live.
This webinar, part of the MSR Research Webinar Series organized by the MSR Research Committee, was supported by wonderful guests, including Dr. Ramya Venkateswaran, who opened the session. This was followed by the Elders Circle with Ana Maria Peredo and Joseph Scott Gladstone, with rich contributions to the exchange by Ella Henry. Then Stephanie Daher, Peter Musinguzi, and Daysha Tonumaipe'a joined a bit later for a dynamic Peer Circle conversation. We would like to thank them again for their time and willingness to share their observations, resources, and encouragement for the road ahead.
The aim of this session was to offer perspectives from various cultural orientations and to provide inspiration for more grounded and holistic research. It also sought to connect the work of research with the practice of being a researcher, highlighting how who we are, who we are accountable to, and who our work is for shape what research becomes.
The video of the session can be found on the MSR - Academy of Management YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyCMPQxtPvs
Below the video, you will also find the mini reference list that was shared at the end of the session in the chat. Please feel free to access these materials on the YouTube page including an additional reference which we've also noted below this message for quick access.
Thank you again for your interest and engagement in doing research differently.
Kind regards,
MSR Research Committee
