In support of MSR's expanding commitment to making a difference in the world, Ian Mitroff and Judi Neal are hosting a community discussion on the intersection of MSR, the emerging field of global consciousness, and ways in which these fields help us understand and positively impact the social challenges facing humanity in the present and the future.
Our first session on January 25, 2023 was highly engaged and the group was eager to continue to explore questions about the ways our research, teaching and consulting can make a positive difference to our world.
In this session, we will explore some of the following questions, plus whatever arises from those who participate:
· The divisiveness in the world is greater than any time in our lifetimes. What can MSR do to heal these divides in our research and teaching?
· What is the connection between MSR, global consciousness and polarization?
· What are the implications for management and the workplace?
Ian and Judi will each share thoughts and raise questions, and then, depending on attendance, we will go into breakout rooms to allow for deeper dialogue.
