    Dear all,

I'm currently helping a private foundation develop a grant-making agenda for research on "religion and innovation." I am interested in meeting with scholars at AOM who have expertise in this area.

I'm especially interested in scholars who have conducted research on topics such as: conceptualization/definition of innovation; frameworks and typologies of innovation; measuring innovativeness; success/failures of innovation; facilitators/obstacles to innovation; understandings of innovation in religious traditions/communities; what religious scholars/leaders can learn from management scholars/practitioners about innovation; how religion/spirituality may fuel secular innovation, or related topics. (We're understanding "religion" broadly speaking to include established religious traditions as well as varieties of spirituality).

We're currently trying to identify the main experts working on these or related areas, and will be organizing interdisciplinary workshops in the coming year to develop funding opportunities. We are also assembling an advisory board of experts and will be offering honoraria.

If anyone from the group has some expertise in the aforementioned topics and would like to meet during AOM (I'd be happy to buy a meal or coffee), please contact Patrice Walton (patrice@brvnathan.com) with your availability between 4th - 8th of August.

We would also appreciate any suggestions for other experts we may want to consult with.

    Thanks,
    Brandon
