Dear MSR Colleagues,
The election results are in, and I am pleased to share that nearly 21% of MSR members participated in this election. Please join me in congratulating Dr. Sharda Nandram, who has been elected to serve in the Leadership Track. Sharda's first year of her five-year service role will be primarily focused on the 2026 PDWs as PDW Chair.
Also, we extend gratitude to Drs. Sunny Jeong and Richard Major, who made the big commitment to run for this critical leadership position. Both Sunny and Richard have made tremendous contributions to our community, and both remain steadfast in their continued dedication and commitment to MSR.
Finally, please join me in thanking Joan Marques, Tom Culham, and Kathryn Goldman-Schuyler for serving on this year's nominating committee. The committee was very active and deliberative in its work, and the high quality of all the candidates, along with the impressive voter turnout, reflects their hard work. Thank you!
As I conclude my five-year service role, what comes to my mind is 'it takes a community.' From the quest to become an official Division, to collective strategizing and visioning, to being ever conscious of the MSR ethos, the relationships we develop as we work and grow together are nourishing and inspiring to me. Thank YOU ALL for sharing your gifts and talents, for voting, and for caring about the health and well-being of the Division of Management, Spirituality, and Religion.
