    SURVEY OF PROFESSORS EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE
     

    Dear Professor,

     

    My name is Tacha N. Brooks. I am a doctoral student at University of the Potomac located in Washington, DC. I am pursuing a Doctorate of Business Administration.

     

    I am requesting your valuable collaboration with my dissertation research. The title of my study is "PROFESSOR PERCEPTIONS OF EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE IN EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP CURRICULA: A QUANTITATVE STUDY."

     

    The purpose of my study is to examine the perceptions that university professors of organizational leadership hold concerning the importance of including Emotional Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence competencies in organizational leadership programs, and to determine the extent to which both EI and SI competencies are included in organizational leadership university programs throughout the United States.

     

    Potential participants will be asked to respond to this initial inquiry based on the following criteria:

     

    • Are you an instructor in a university setting?
    • Do you teach organizational leadership courses?

    If you choose to participate, I am asking you to please complete a three - part, web-based questionnaire. The questionnaire will: (a) collect demographics; (b) collect the perceptions of university professors of Executive MBA and Organizational Leadership curricula regarding the necessity and value of program requirements addressing the emotional and spiritual intelligence of organizational leaders; and (c) collect your opinions of the value of emotional and spiritual intelligence in curricula.  It is estimated that it will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

     

    Participants who agree to take part in this research will be sent a link to a website where they will be required to complete a Consent Form prior to beginning the actual research. Data will not be linked to any institution. Confidentiality and participant's anonymity will be guaranteed by means of a secure Webserver and data codification. Please, complete the questionnaire by July 25, 2022. I would very much appreciate your timely response. Feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail if you have any questions or concerns.
